BVC basic liquid aspiration system from VACUUBRAND®

The BVC basic by VACUUBRAND is a professional fluid aspiration system specifically developed for laboratory use. The vacuum aspiration station enables safe and controlled aspiration of liquids from cell culture flasks, Petri dishes and otherbasic vessels. The system is designed for connection to an existing external vacuum source such as a membrane pump or vacuum network and operates without electrical power supply. It consists of a collection bottle with mechanical vacuum regulator, hydrophobic protective filter and the VacuuHandControl VHCpro aspiration handle for ergonomic work. The compact design makes the BVC basic an ideal companion for modern laboratory environments.

The BVC basic is available either with a 4 litre collection bottle made of shatterproof polypropylene or a 2 litre collection bottle made of glass. The PP variant offers high chemical resistance and shatter resistance, while the glass variant ensures optimal transparency and cleanability. Both variants are fully autoclavable and designed for professional use in the laboratory. Thanks to the robust construction and chemically resistant materials, the system is suitable for a wide range of applications in cell culture, microbiology and biochemical analysis. The integrated mechanical vacuum regulator ensures optimal working vacuum in the range 100 to 500 mbar at all times and opens only when required, thus limiting the gas load on the external vacuum source. The hydrophobic protective filter with 0.2 µm pore size reliably protects against contamination of the vacuum network. The guide tube integrated in the bottle head reduces foam and aerosol formation and ensures long service life of the protective filter. The VacuuHandControl VHCpro aspiration handle is equipped with a continuous suction hose so that the mechanism does not come into contact with the media and no contamination occurs.
