Schlenk pipe with side glass tap 2.5 mm and olive 9 mm – borosilicate glass 3.3

The Rettberg Schlenk tube is specifically designed for use under a protective gas atmosphere and is part of the classic Schlenk apparatus used in preparative chemistry. It is made of high-quality borosilicate glass 3.3, which is characterized by excellent chemical resistance, thermal stability, and low thermal expansion.

The Schlenk tube is equipped with a side-mounted glass stopcock (2.5 mm bore) and an olive (9 mm diameter). This design allows for secure connection to Schlenk lines and controlled evacuation or gas purging of the reaction vessel. The standard ground joint sleeve (NS 14.5/23 or NS 29/32) ensures a gas-tight connection with compatible fittings on the glass apparatus.

Thanks to its precise workmanship and high material quality, the Schlenk tube is ideally suited for demanding synthesis work where exclusion of air, exclusion of moisture or defined atmospheres is required.
