Schlenk piston made of borosilicate glass 3.3 with HV-PTFE valve
The Rettberg Schlenk flask is an indispensable laboratory vessel for demanding Schlenk techniques in synthetic chemistry, organometallic chemistry and catalysis research.
This 25 ml Schlenk flask is made of high-quality borosilicate glass 3.3 and offers excellent chemical resistance as well as resistance to temperature changes. The laterally mounted high-vacuum PTFE valve (fine thread) enables precise work under inert gas or vacuum conditions.
Technical features:
- Standard ground glass sleeve for standardized connections (size selectable)
- High-vacuum PTFE valve with fine thread (bore 0–8 mm)
- Olive Ø 9 mm for secure ground joints
- Round bottom shape for optimal mixing and heat transfer
- Chemical and temperature resistant borosilicate glass 3.3
The Schlenk piston is particularly suitable for inert gas applications where the exclusion of oxygen and moisture is essential. The precise PTFE valve allows for the controlled addition and removal of gases while simultaneously maintaining a high vacuum.
