RE 2.5 rotary vane pump from VACUUBRAND®

The RE 2.5 single-stage rotary vane pump from VACUUBRAND® is specifically designed for demanding laboratory and industrial applications where a good ultimate vacuum at medium gas flow rates is required. The pump is characterized by its compact design, low weight of only 12.8 kg, and robust telescopic construction, which facilitates easy maintenance.

The RE 2.5 offers a high suction capacity up to near the ultimate vacuum of 3 × 10⁻¹ mbar and still achieves very good values ​​of 8 × 10⁻¹ mbar even with gas ballast. Thanks to the large usable oil volume (0.40 - 1.00 l), long oil change intervals are possible, which reduces operating costs and minimizes maintenance.

A key feature is the vacuum-tight shut-off without an additional suction port valve, which simplifies the design and increases reliability. The pump is delivered pre-filled with oil and operates at a low sound pressure level of only 48 dBA.

Typical applications include freeze-drying, fine vacuum distillation, evacuation of small volumes for the use of µ-focus X-ray tubes, or filling with pure gases.
