High-vacuum through-flow valve with PTFE spindle
The Rettberg high-vacuum through-flow valve with PTFE spindle is a precision valve for demanding vacuum applications in the laboratory. The valve features a fine thread and a chemically resistant PTFE spindle, enabling precise dosing and flow control. The body is made of borosilicate glass 3.3 and is designed for use in high-vacuum systems, distillation setups, and chemical synthesis plants.
The through-flow design allows connection from both sides via pipe fittings with different outer diameters. Depending on the selected variant, through-holes from 0–6 mm to 0–15 mm are available. The PTFE material guarantees high chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, and organic solvents, as well as excellent thermal resistance in a temperature range of -200 °C to +260 °C.
The spindle's fine thread allows for precise and reproducible flow rate adjustment. The valve design is specifically engineered for high-vacuum applications and ensures a reliable seal even at low pressures. Particularly in preparative chemistry, rotary evaporators, and short-path distillations, this through-flow valve provides safe and controlled media flow for aggressive media and high purity requirements.
