Graduated Schlenk tube with lateral PTFE high-vacuum valve – borosilicate glass 3.3 – Rettberg
The graduated Schlenk tube from Rettberg combines precision manufacturing and high-quality materials for professional laboratory applications. It is specifically designed for reactions under protective gas atmospheres and high vacuum, and is ideally suited for sensitive organic syntheses, air- and moisture-sensitive substances, and inert working conditions.
The Schlenk tube features a standard ground joint (sleeve) for a secure and leak-proof connection to other glassware. The side-mounted PTFE high-vacuum valve with fine thread allows for precise control of gas flow and evacuation – the valve opening ranges from 0 to 8 mm. The 8 mm diameter olive ensures optimal hose connection.
Made of borosilicate glass 3.3 (according to DIN ISO 3585), the Schlenk tube offers excellent chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, and organic solvents, as well as high resistance to temperature changes. The graduations allow for quick visual volume control directly during operation.
Thanks to the high-quality PTFE seal in the valve, the system remains absolutely leak-proof even under extreme conditions – a must for high-vacuum applications. The Schlenk tube is compatible with common Schlenk lines and vacuum pumps.
Use under protective gas: The design supports working with argon, nitrogen or other inert gases and protects sensitive reactants from oxidation and moisture.
